Is the Pressure Getting To Novak?
Sure looks that way…today he blew up at James Carville after a fairly innocuous statement, exclaiming “That’s bull**it”, and walked off the set of Inside Politics. An indefinite suspension by CNN followed (don’t cry too much, though; Novak’s wealth is the stuff of legend)…
Server problems, apparently, at the first link…you can also view the video here…

Well said.
Thanks bunches for that link, Mark. (he grumbles as he gets out the Pine-Sol to wash out his browser)
Stormed off is a little much, I admit…but leaving the set at all is pretty remarkable…
Dmac, I actually own the DVD of the War Room…
Mark –
Would you not agree then that most of his act is merely that, an “act?” I’ve always been amused that after most of these shows are over, where most of the participants have been screaming at each other nonstop, they all proceed to go out for drinks and a few laughs.
Who’s kidding whom here?
I think part of it is an act, and part of it is (hard as it is to think of this word in conjunction with Carville) being a professional gun for hire…which is just another way of saying an act, also, I guess…
I really think the Rajin’ Cajun just plays politics for the fun of it – did anyone see the film “The War Room?” The guy is seen literally falling over with laughter a number of times during Clinton’s first campaign – and at his own candidate’s expense. Then he kept an earlier promise and broke an egg over his forehead on “Meet The Press” after Bush’s 2nd win.
I don’t like his politics, but I’d love to go out for a beer with the guy (but his wife can stay home – their political kabuki act has grown tiresome).
Yeah, Carville is a douche.
Novak should have gotten his can and come back to beat his a** like they back in the Senate in Novak’s day.
Kidding. Though barely.

The question really is not why Novak is not on, but rather why in the hell Carville IS. I am concerned for the ocular health of anyone who can bear him on the idiot box for more than three seconds. If he had hair, he’d be Medusa.
Aww, shucks, megapotamus, Carville’s just a good ol’ Cajun who ain’t never done no harm to no one…
“Stormed off the set”? More like casually strolled off after calmly & mildly telling the Ragin’ Cajun off.
Color me underwhelmed.
For the record, Carville wouldn’t shut up and let Novak talk – I watched it live.
Ahhh…the Crooks and Liars thing…
I WAS referring to the second link, Mark.
