Why I May Become A Moonbat
It’s a lot easier to get published. Just look at this tripe from air conditioner installer Rick Wilhelm that made into Alexander Cockburn’s far-left rag CounterPunch, entitled (I’m not joking, see for yourself) “Peter Jennings, Excuse Maker For War and Empire”. This is quite possibly the most laughably inept piece to have ever seen the light of day. What is the case that Wilhelm makes for his strongly worded charge? Two things:
- Jennings called Manuel Noriega ‘odious’ and mentioned he might have had something to do with drugs; and
- Jennings mentioned that we use precision bombs to try and keep civilian casualties low.
Okay, well…surely that can’t be it! And yet it is…that’s the case for “excuse maker for war and empire”. Those two things…and nothing else. Really…I swear to you…I’m sorry, I can’t continue, as I’m laughing uncontrollably as I write this…
