Able Danger Hearing September 14
Arlen Specter’s Judiciary Comittee is holding a hearing September 14 to discuss Able Danger, a move I heartily applaud. It’s appearing more and more likely that Able Danger was shut down because of intelligence it gathered on American citizens and their Chinese connections.
On an unrelated note, jp at Americans for Freedom called a couple of days ago for the military to be flexible with servicemen from the areas affected by Katrina. It appears he got his wish…good…

You know, as much as I dislike Snarlin’ Arlen, I do have to give him his due; he was one hell of a prosecuting attorney. If he’s got anything left at all, he’ll GET to the bottom of this.
And the serendipitous thing is, given the grief he’s given the administration on judicial nominees, Hugo Chavez, abortion, et.al., it’s going to be impossible for the left and the MSM to paint him as a partisan hack. They’ll TRY, but it won’t work.
