Katrina launched a thousand idiotic and rash accusations of which I have yet to see ONE that could concretely say, "This, Bush diddeth not but President Clinton/Gore/Kerry/Nader/Sheehan wouldst have done and X cajuns would be alive today that are not." Gas prices coming down will remove what little popular appeal that kind of crankery holds. The Roberts hearings will, I think, reflect poorly on our Lefty Bretheren but we shall see. If it is Bush's turn (again) it will be a riotous thing; the Lame made Whole, even if he is a duck. Oh, to see Ted Kennedy at the mics again.
