NY Times Cracks Down On Column Reprints
These aren’t the droids you’re looking for, says the New York Times, as it pretends that no one was ever supposed to get its TimesSelect content online through loopholes (we know better). Far more likely is that they simply thought their readers too dumb to figure out they didn’t have to pay fifty bucks, they just needed the magic of Google. Mickey Kaus has more on what increasingly looks to be the incredibly short-lived TimesSelect (I give it until early 2006, tops, before they bring the columnists back out into the cold harsh world of constant mockery once again)…
