Informed Speculation

I didn’t go, and I probably never will as long as it is in September (hint to the organizers – you live in Austin, you know it doesn’t get cool here until October!), but apparently the ACL Festival was hot, hot, hot – both musically, and temperature-wise (a high of 108(!!!) in some parts of Austin). Clouds of dust and heat were the main obstacles to a good time, but apparently, the music satisfied most, and Coldplay (a band some love to hate, though, let’s face it, they’re pretty good songwriters) delivered a well-received finale.
