That would be some most excellent cspan. But I don’t think it’s going to happen–Bush has too much SCOTUS credibility after Roberts and I think people would see it for what it would be–an attempt to exercise power that was not granted at the ballot box. Even the media knows it–the CNN announcers seemed downright downcast this morning as they tried to play up the great coming battle over the next nominee and called the Roberts’ confirmation “the calm before the storm.”

Of course, exactly what they were saying in June. Sounds pretty empty now.
