A Bad Day For Freedom Of Speech

Yesterday, the House approved the Online Freedom of Speech Act, but failed to do so by the two-thirds margin necessary for passage, largely due to lack of Democratic support. The Act, which would have exempted blogs from FEC regulation under McCain-Feingold, was a rare uniter of the Left and Right.
