Time To Let The Cat Out of the Bag

I’ve been hinting around at something big on the horizon, and I think it’s about time to spill the beans. You may or may not have heard of ‘Pajamas Media’, the venture (soon to change its name to something a little more professional) of Roger Simon and Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs fame.

I’ve been invited to be an Associate Contributor, and I’ve accepted. Yes, I will get paid…we’re not talking huge $$$, but a fair price for my traffic level. No, I won’t have to change a word or submit to any editorial control. What I will do is give up my ad space soon to ads delivered by the group, and in exchange, I’ll be profiled and linked on the portal, and hopefully have my posts highlighted from time to time.

If none of this makes any sense, I invite you to check out these two links for more information. This page has profiles of several contributors and board members. The editorial board is indeed a stellar lineup, including

Michael Barone
Austin Bay
Tim Blair
Tammy Bruce
Marc Cooper
David Corn
Richard Fernandez
Jose Guardia
Jane Hall
Larry Kudlow
Michael Ledeen
Clifford May
John Podhoretz
Claudia Rosett

I’m proud to be associated with such a great group, and I feel fortunate to have this opportunity…my understanding is there will be about 70 blogs in the venture initially.

I had considered waiting until my own profile was up, but this Wednesday a huge gala is taking place in New York at the fancy W Hotel on Lexington to unveil the venture officially, including the new name (and a talk by none other than Judy Miller). I was invited, as a Contributor, but will not be able to attend. However, I intend to watch the events closely through my virtual eyes and ears, as I know it will be blogged heavily.

I thank you for your continued support, and I hope this blog keeps improving as time goes by. I’m dedicated to it, and I hope it shows…

More news as events warrant…
