UN Fails In Internet Takeover Bid
In case you haven’t heard, the UN bid to ‘share’ the technology they took no part in developing has failed, and the Internet will stay, basically, just as it was, with a face-saving forum created to discuss issues that can’t be enforced. A victory for free speech, no matter how you slice it…

A great thing, but can anyone really doubt that governments will eventually take over at some point in the near future? Don’t see how other nations will be able to keep their greedy little hands off it…

This is great news! The idea of the U.N. having control over our freedoms when it comes to the Internet is a scary proposition. High and unfair taxes along with strict restrictions have been avoided.
