This Christmas, Give Your Republican Friends The Gift That Keeps Giving

I’m referring, of course, to Howard Dean, who may be the dumbest politician alive (well, there’s John Kerry). Dean today, care of our good friend Ryan James:

“The idea that the United States is going to win the war in Iraq is just plain wrong.”

Wow, that’s inspiring stuff! Is it any wonder the Democrats can’t seem to win the Presidency?

Also commenting on the astute Dr. Dean are the lovely Pamela (another Best New Blog finalist) and the great Tom Maguire (“Hmm. Leaving Iraq so we can fight Zarqawi, currently based in Iraq. Why not?!”)…

  • Don’t miss the follow-up quote:

“We need to be out of there and take the targets off our troops back.”

I’ve got the address of where to send your thank-you notes…

Funny how the dems, mistakenly, are pointing out that Bush will not be welcome endorsing candidates for 06 in many states.

Damaged goods? Relative to Dean he’s probably twice as popular. Dems are concerned about the Pelosi/dean gambit which used Murtha to drop a message, that the rest of the dems were unprepared to support. Unprepared because there was no communication/coordination with the members of the house from the dnc or Pelosi. Nancy did what she did for her constituents, but her constituents are not national, but local. I don’t think HRC was ready for the (very lame) protestors in Chicago. I don’t think that a large majority of dems want them under the umbrella of the party.

Fineman was reporting about a GOP crack up-but now it is the dems turn. Lacking a cohesive message, it is quickly going to become, every person for themselves…Dean has never been held in high esteem by even half his party…but he is killing any chance the dems had for gains in the Senate or the House.

Dean is a rat in a trap.
He has to make money, by exciting the loonies, but in doing so, he is crippling his party to have a much needed internal debate. History will soon be debating the cost of his selection for DNC chair. The dems whine about the Iraq conflict and lacking a plan…so now they are still conflicted about Iraq, and lack a plan for even dealing with it in their own party.

Will anxiously await the Ohio congessional results in 06 for a barometer-it is all that matters.

  • The Real Face of DemocRats

“The idea that we’re going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain wrong”. These are the exact words used by Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean in an interview on WOAI Radio in San Antonio. Finally, he officially joined the Betra…
