Markos Flexes His Muscles Again
If we know one thing about our good friend Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, it’s that he hates Joe Lieberman…I mean seriously, with a passion. Why, he said so himself:
We [Democrats] hate Lieberman. Lieberman is going to get a primary challenger for his Senate seat next year if me and a lot of grass-roots groups have our way.
If there’s a second thing we know, it’s that the candidates Markos supports have never, and never will, win an election.
How appropriate, then, that the two things meet so tidily:
Connecticut voters approve of U.S. Sen. Joseph Lieberman 62 – 24 percent and say 64 – 24 percent that he should be reelected, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.
Republicans say give Democrat Lieberman another term 75 – 18 percent, while Democrats favor his reelection 59 – 29 percent and independent voters back him 61 – 24 percent, the independent Quinnipiac University poll finds.
Only 27 percent of voters, including 30 percent of Democrats, 24 percent of Republicans and 27 percent of independents, want former Gov. Lowell Weicker to run as an independent candidate against Lieberman.
Lieberman would beat Weicker 65 – 21 percent, getting 67 percent of the Democratic vote, 72 percent of the Republican vote and 60 percent of the independent vote.
Behold, the mighty Kos!

If Joe Lieberman didn’t have such an annoying tone of voice and manner of speaking the man could be president.
That is if he could ever win a Democratic Primary, and I bet he could if he looked and spoke like Edwards or even Evan Byah.
It is a sad but true state of American poltics.
Kos is just too easy to pick on. I almost feel guilty. (almost)
Kos is the Bizzaro World’s King Midas.
