A Brief Digression Into The Realm of Sports
I have watched maybe one NFL game in its entirety this season; that’s how much I’ve come to dislike professional athletics, particularly in comparison with the thrill of the college game. Ditto the NBA – and God knows I, like most Americans, hold Kobe Bryant in far less esteem than I once did after his extramarital escapades came to light.
But 81 points? In this day and age? Whoa…that is impressive….and 12 points better than Jordan’s best. In fact, it was the second-best total in NBA history…
