Ready? Here goes:
Judge Alito has an extensive paper trail documenting the right-wing political agenda that he has actively advanced, not only as a high-ranking official in the Reagan Administration, but also as a judge. He has publicly supported the “Unitary Executive” theory, a radical notion that the President holds exclusive and inherent authority to execute all federal law. He has supported efforts to curtail privacy rights, including not only privacy from government surveillance and arbitrary arrest, but also other constitutional rights based on privacy, such as reproductive liberty for women. Alito has outspokenly sought to restrict Congress’ power, limiting the scope of the Commerce Clause of Article I of the Constitution. In addition, he has consistently applied his discretion as a judge in favor of certain interests and against others. He rarely votes against big business, police or prosecutors.
Hint: The utterer of the above rot has pledged to run against Diane Feinstein if she doesn’t filibuster.
Even if DiFi does join a filibuster, Sheehan should still run against her in the Dem primary. DiFi, after all, supported Bush’s imperialist occupation of, um, New Orleans.
Of course, even if through some fluke series of events she actually managed to beat DiFi and the eventual toothless Republican nominee, she would still only be California’s second most asinine Senator.
I know any circumstances that might lead to Cindy Sheehan in the US Senate should not be encouraged, but hey, she’s going to run for something this year and it would be so very entertaining…
If she wins it’ll pave the way for Senator Schwarzwenegger in 2012.

I’ll light a candle on my shrine in hopes that she will, in fact, run. I hope to record her speeches and string them all into a compendium for posterity, because without it, no one would ever believe someone actually said these things. Even Rove couldn’t make up the stuff she’s spewing out. What a joy it must be for Dean’s staff each morning to come to work in anticipation of Sheehan’s next bloviation….

No one in the MSM seems to have noticed that she also ripped into Clinton for many of the same “crimes against humanity.”

Cindy here’s a hint: He does have the power to execute all federal laws, try reading the U.S. Constitution, Article II, section 3.
