The MinuteMan: Always Up To the Challenge
Peter Daou, who actually admits to advising the Kerry campaign (isn’t that a bit like listing Custer’s Last Stand on your C.V.?), asks the following question of the great Tom Maguire:
Tom, the issue is this: there’s no reason on earth to lump together the words of [Michael] Moore and a bloodthirsty terrorist. No reason, other than to push the latest GOP talking point, namely, Democrats are treasonous terrorist-appeasers.
No reason?

Is it my imagination, or did Peter Daou just admit that Michael Moore is a typical Democrat?
the link don’t work.
Thanks for the heads-up! Fixed now…
Clint: I noticed that too. It would seem to be so much easier to react the way most Republicans do when Pat Robertson issues one of his “wrath of God updates” (Tim Blair’s phrase) and simply say that Robertson doesn’t speak for them and they don’t know any Republicans who like Robertson, etc. But then again, Moore gives the Democrats what they think is their best material, as evidenced by Kerry’s cribbing of Moore throughout his campaign.
Of course, Mr. Moore was up in one of the honorary boxes during the DNC convention, along with another hallowed member, Jimmah.
What on earth do they think moderates on either side think when they see such displays? Cool, intelligent, reasonable people?
