Sharon Survives Another Scare
What goes through the mind of the comatose? Anything? Do they feel pain? I don’t know the answers, but Ariel Sharon is holding on to what little life he has left with the same stubborn tenacity he lived his waking years with. After initial reports that his life was in grave danger, he’s apparently come through his emergency surgery in decent shape.
To what end, of course, is another question. It’s hard to imagine him having a decent chance at any life worth living…but such questions are not for me to decide. We’ll leave that one up to the Almighty, or, for the atheists, his team of physicians. As always, best wishes and prayers for the Israeli PM and his family…
