An Admirable Lack of Diplomacy
Straight talk from (sacré bleu!) the French:
France accused Iran of pursuing a nuclear program that could only be intended for military purposes, in comments Thursday that reflected mounting European frustration with Iran’s resumption of uranium enrichment two days ago.
“Today, it’s simple, no civilian nuclear program can explain the Iranian nuclear program,” Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy said on a morning news program on France 2 television. “So, it’s an Iranian clandestine military nuclear program.”
Very well put, indeed…

Should we assume this means the French aren’t making any money off the Iranian nuclear ambitions?
Cyncism aside, it’s good to hear that. Whether it’ll mean anything when the rubber meets the road, I don’t know, but it’s heartening.
Even the French have to live on the world as it is, not as they would wish it. Kudos (is that French?) on a half a loaf/better late than never scale. How long before the French nation is denounced as warmongering imperialists by her late fans here in the Blue redoubts? Actually it’s probably already happening somewhere in some poorly tracked corner of the Hard Left ethersphere.
First Schumer & then France, I am beginning to question whether or not the world really is coming to an end?
