Decision ‘08: Not Recommended by 9 out of 10 Kossacks

Every once in a great while, I penetrate the great citadel of progressive thought known as the Daily Kos, though usually in some obscure dairy that results in no hits. Today, I’m proud to say that I received the following non-endorsement from ‘Recovering Southern Baptist’ (the subject is the VERY remote possibility of a McCain-Lieberman ticket in 2008):

Blogged about on Decision08.net (not recommending this blog)

*Sniff*…I’m sorry, I’m just overcome with emotion…give me a minute…….

That’s a badge of honor I’ll carry my whole life…

Did you use up a whole box of tissues? What an emotional moment!

So, are you going to survive or not?

How sad. Did they give a reason for not recommending this blog site? Maybe they do not know how open minded you are and allow all reasonable discussion regardless of political affiliation. Peter and others can attest to that fact.

Look on the bright side, you were awarded the esteemed Muffin Paw Print of Approval and the Daily Kos was not.

  • Hey, believe me, I would be more worried if anyone at the Daily Kos did recommend me…

    Mark,

Are you trying to tell us that there is nobody at the Daily Kos that has an open mind and wants reasonable political discussion on the issues? Or maybe it’s your no vulgarity policy?

  • Was the “obscure dairy” comment on purpose? hehe.

  • Hey, I’m pretty obscure myself…but at least I’m not a diarist on the Daily Kos…

I can certainly certify decision08.net as reasonable — but I’ve yet to go to the kos site, so regrettably I have no sway there –

This reminds me of a bit of blowback from objections to the political posturing at Mrs. King’s funeral. A couple of Kossack bigs declared that any postmortal uses of their image, wake or funeral should and would be directed to anti-Busherie and KARL ROVE CAN JUST GO #$% HIMSELF!!!!
I remember one of those declarations from one KarenG.
No doubt Tom DeLay and Bill Frist would attend the services for Miss KarenG, if she had a last name and met her fate. I urge restraint on any Republican who finds him/herself at any such engagement.
