…the FEC released its Draft Internet Final Rule last night regarding campaign finance law as it relates to Internet activity. Allison Hayward of Skeptic’s Eye has comprehensive coverage here. She seems happy enough:

I think the FEC rule is a better approach than the legislation before Congress – it takes on the scope of the CDT/HR4900 approach, but without the unnecessarily harsh consequences for parties.
