You Could Knock Me Over With A Feather
Under the headline “Talks Fail To Halt Iran Programme”:
UN nuclear watchdog chief Mohamed ElBaradei has failed to convince Iran to freeze its nuclear programme during a brief visit to Tehran.
But he said both sides had agreed to continue an intensive dialogue over the next few weeks on the issue.
Iran sparked international alarm after announcing two days ago it had succeeded in enriching uranium.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has vowed the country will not back down “even one iota”.
Mr ElBaradei said his inspectors had taken samples to check to what degree Iran has successfully enriched uranium.
Dialogue, dialogue, dialogue…I’m not seeing it…what I am seeing is a monologue and a lot of wishful thinking…

Even among the cesspool of utterly hopeless ineptitude that is the UN, ElBaradei stands out as clueless to a degree that is beyond the power of the human brain to comprehend.
Thank God (and GWB) for John Bolton.
Dialogue? To what purpose? Iran is talking for only one reason: to give the impression they are working with us (the West) so that we will refrain from acting to stop their nuclear weapon development program.
They want a nucliear weapon, period. They are not going through this as a means to some other end – or if they are, I haven’t heard of what this other objective might be.
Put up or shut up – the time for ‘dialogue’ is over.
