		<description>What politician or party actually has a favorable rating these days?  With the economy roaring along and no new terror attacks since 9/11 (just to mention a couple of broad positives) the results of these polls tell me that people&#039;s opinions are fickle and superficial.  Sure, gas prices are high, mortgage rates are climbing but I just don&#039;t get the pessimism.  Perhaps for our politicians and office holders this is a rebuke of their now long commitment to highly partisan carping and squabbling?
