As much as I love the Barton Creek Greenbelt  -- I spend quite a bit of time down there -- amendment 2 seemed extremely heavy handed, ill-conceived, and hastily written (as did amendment 1). When the Statesman Editorials (from my view they&#039;re moderate to right leaning... really) and Louis Black (Austin Chronicle, very left) agree on something, you&#039;ve got to perk up your ears. Hopefully SOS members, as well as local Sierra Club leaders will realize that in the future they need to get a little from input from those of us who want to protect the aquifer but not at the absolute expense of everything else.</description>
