Yeah, but do you really want Kos’ Predictive Powers casting their baleful gaze your way? I started thinking the Democrats had a very good shot of winning the House this fall when he started expressing pessimism about it.

  • Dennis…the point is, the left is very worried about Huckabee. Which they should be. Mark, thanks for the linkage. You rock.

If nothing else, Huckabee would be a strong candidate against Hillary. He succeeded the disgraced Jim Guy Tucker (Clinton’s Lieutenant Governor and protoge) as governor of Arkansas and was governing the state when much of its old guard political establishment (Tucker, McDougal, Hubble, et al) found themselves on the other side of the law (culture of corruption, anyone?) His record as governor also far outstripped Clinton’s, which would deprive the Democrats of their other key campaign platform in ’08.

The only issue with this POTENTIAL candidate is that he is completely against gay rights and gay marriage. In today’s environment we can’t have a candidate that is against this. He was interviews on “Meet the Press” today (1/28) and had to back out of a comment that seems to be very uncomfortable for him to address. Can’t have this, it’s going to be 2008 for crying out loud!
