SurveyUSA has its latest approval ratings for all 50 senators here. Of note, Joe Lieberman has an approval rating of 55%, which is only average and again underscores the toll the constant attacks on him have taken. Also of note, of the 9 senators whose disapproval actually exceeds their approval, 5 are Republicans, 4 Democrats 6 are Republicans, and 3 Democrats. At the bottom of the heap? I can’t figure out precisely what their blue/red coding means. Is it just who the state voted for in the most recent presidential election?
Good question – the blue/red state map is a chimera, mostly because so many of the outlined states barely made it into either column. Silly construct, designed to dumb down the debate at at large.
