Spent The Evening…
…watching a three-year-old movie that I’ve never seen, and I have only one thing to say: if there has been a more cringe-inducing moment in the last decade than the scene where the inhabitants of Zion start dancing in The Matrix Reloaded, I don’t want to see it.
Sheer, unbearable torture…I nearly went insane begging the scene to end…and this movie got 74% on the Tomatometer? I’m not seeing it…or rather, I wish I hadn’t…
Lordy, lordy do I ever agree! Saw that movie in the theatre when it was released and that scene made me uncomfortable. I ain’t no prude but the orgiastic overtones and length of the scene was just, well, uncomfortable and served no real purpose in the story.
