I got tired of waiting for them to adopt a new flag so I've bought one that still says "Allahu Ahkbar!" but not in Saddams paw-scratchings. Is there a Mid-Eastern snake that could grace a "Don't Tread On Me" type banner for the Iraqis? Ben Franklin was a big supporter of the snake theme at least during the Revolution. The rattler is distinctly American and, as is well known, never strikes without warning. It might be pleasant to add, she never strikes without KILLING but that is of course not true.
