Top Ten Huff’N'Puffer Reactions To The Death Of Ken Lay
Showing all the class we’ve come to expect from ‘progressive’ lurkers, here’s a sampling of reaction to the death of Ken Lay (who, after all, was a convicted felon but not a murderer):
10. Not quite sure whether to believe this.
Why don’t they show us his dead head over and over and over again as was done with al-Zarqwari. Maybe even put it in a nice wooden frame and title it “Dead Boogeyman of the Month”.
After all, Lay ruined way more American lives than al-Zarqwari.

9. Yeah, ‘suicide’, riiiight. He’s been threatening to spill the beans on Cheney’s Energy Task Force ever since his conviction. Why do you think his trial was so drawn out? Skilling better hirea food taster.

8. I’m with the conspiracy crowd here.
The current group of power mongers has proven consistently over decades that any person too dangerous to the administration or the plans of the military industrial complex has been permanently silenced.
Massive coronary? What kind of substance can be injected to cause that? Just too suspicious.

7. If Ken Lay had had an ounce of humanity in his soul, I would have felt bad about his passing, but that was not the case. So, woo-woo, another one bites the dust.

6. Seems a little too “Vince Foster”-like to suit my tastes.
So can we go all-out on Bush like the Repugs did to Clinton?

5. He was probably murdered so the secrets wouldn’t spill! Folks please check out 9/11 loose change!!

4. who will represent the Bush Reich at the funeral? Kenny Boy did raise lots of cash for the brownshirts…now if only Cheney’s ticker would have a sudden surge we could really get down an par-tay!

3. I imagine one question some of us who don’t trust the present administration on the 9/11 issue would be: What did Ken Lay know and when did he know it? There is strong evidence that vital Enron documents pointing to imminent demise of the business were destroyed in the collapse of the towers.

2. He’s been silenced by the administration before things could get any closer to Bush.
I used to think conspiracy minded folks were nuts. But this administration has proven them right again and again.

and our number 1:
Good riddance to the corporatist-fascist destroyer of people’s lives! Now if only Bush, Cheney and the rest of these Asterisk-Period maggots could follow suit!
But let us not be too long in returning to THE main topic:
Nothing is so despicable as the unelected appointee sociopath in the W*House (along with his one brain cell supporters) saying “We must win in Iraq so that we don’t have to fight here.”
The truth is: “Bush must lose in Iraq so that we don’t have to lose here.”
Support the insurgent Freedom Fighters in Iraq! They are fighting for YOUR freedom! Do you realize what it would do for Bush & Co. if these fascist forces of Bush ‘won’ in Iraq?
SUPPORT OUR (INSURGENT) TROOPS!

Way to go, Arianna; thanks for providing us with this wonderful place of debate…

Actually, Lay’s heart had been cut out of his body, before the police arrived-truly a heart attack.
Dick Cheney, giving an interview while running a marathon, stated:
Geez, what a bunch of worthless morons.
The man was responsible for Shelia Jackson-Lee going to Washington.
There is no sin worse than that, folks. Inner Ninth Circle, right into Satan’s maw with Brutus and Cassius.
I avoid the Huffpo comment section for exactly this reason. It tends to be populated by lunatics. That said, the Huffpo hardly has a monopoly on lunatic commenters. Have you ever waded through the comment section on Little Green Footballs or some of the other comment-enabled wingnut blogs? Talk about rabid lunatics. They’re just as crazy and twice as malevolent.
LGF can be way off the rails, no question about it – but the Huff ‘n Puffers utilize so – called “editors” who only seem to let in those unhinged commenters from the far Left of the nasty crowd. They brook no dissent from the right, whereas LGF let’s them all in, regardless of merit. Big difference in operational and ethical attitudes between those two blogs.

You got to love the comments section after a Gutfield reaming.
Watching those morons tooth gnashing after they have been savaged is a sight to behold.
Note to tinfoil hats-if you are advocating the ‘ignore the troll’ meme, but have to type it, you aren’t doing a good job of ‘ignoring the troll’.
[...] Don’t usually care what is being written at the Huffington Post, but Mark at Decision ‘08 took a look at the remarks posted there on the passing of Ken Lay. Interesting. Sad. [...]
