I don’t even know if Olmert still has hopes of carving out a notional two-kilometer-wide DMZ along the border. I mean, it’s easy enough to say such a buffer zone exists, but if the Israelis really want one they’re going to have to fight Hizbullah for every inch of it. Only a true fool like this dolt (who is worshipped by the ‘progressive’ left) could look at a military operation and say that, because in less than three weeks Hezbollah can still fire off some completely ineffective rocket barrages that have no military impact whatsoever, and because they managed to kill a couple of dozen Israeli soldiers, that the action has been a ‘debacle’ for Israel. Last time I checked, Olmert was still in Israel, and Nasrallah was hiding behind his puppetmasters in Damascus. I guess the fact that he hasn’t been scared all the way to Tehran means that’s a defeat for Israel, too.

Infantrymen from the Golani and Paratroopers Brigades killed at least 50 Hizbullah gunmen and wounded hundreds more during fierce gunbattles in Bint Jbail over the weekend. Most of the wounded were from Hizbullah’s special forces and had come to reinforce the regular Hizbullah guerrillas in the village. Soldiers confiscated dozens of handguns and rifles, as well as ammunition, grenades, mines, and five anti-tank missiles there.
As Battalion 890 of the Paratroopers Brigade began to pull out of Bint Jbail, Military Intelligence personnel using an unmanned aerial vehicle spotted a group of Hizbullah terrorists on motorcycles on their way to set up an ambush for the withdrawing troops.
IDF troops deployed accordingly and engaged the enemy force, killing 26 guerrillas. Seven soldiers were wounded, including one seriously.
Since Operation Change of Direction started on July 12, more than 200 Hizbullah guerrillas have been killed, a high-ranking officer said Saturday.

One injured man from Qana said in the media that the house bombed at 1:00 AM, this is also proves the Hizbullah put weapons in the houses in Qana, and actually the civilians injured because of the weapons that Bombed later at this house or another house next to it (in the pictures you can see 2 houses destroyed). the IDF bomb probabaly caused damage to the house, and later the fire bombed the Hizbullah weapons, and the building collapsed.

Israel will not be held Hostage by terrorists organisations any longer, the lebanease government will have to take responsibility for any hostile activity coming from lebanease soil. 2 weeks before the kidnapp Hizbullah Fired KAtyuashas into Isael and israel agreed to hold it’s fire because the lebanease government requested so. However, that govenment continued to overlook Hizbullah’s actions. Now it’s up for the lebanease people to decide wether they want Hizbullah and wars or wether they’ll convince their government to disarm hizbullah, control the borders and return the kidnapped soldiers safely to israel.

Among the most disturbing political phenomena of our times is the emergence in the newly created state of Israel of the “Freedom Party” (Tnuat Haherut), a political party closely akin in its organization, methods, political philosophy and social appeal to the NAZI and FASCIST parties. It was formed out of the membership and following of the former Irgun Zvai Leumi, a TERRORIST, right-wing, chauvinist organization in Palestine.

Built on terriost, racist, and racial supremacist foundations, Y’Sra’El maintains racial purity laws, ethnic cleansing policy, and deity-covenented state-sanctioned “birthrights” for Brookly-born mass mudering “chosen ones,” allowing them to “return” to where they had never been in the first place.
Palestinians forced to flee their homes at gunpoint, on the other hand, are not welcome, and no discussion of such can be entertained for such a lowly caste of humans.

john, I’m the owner of this site, and I’m leaving the comments. My long-standing policy is to only ban people who have been repeatedly warned for (a) personal attacks on another reader of this blog, or (b) excessive profanity.
Yes, there are some stupid (even racist) comments on this thread; no, I don’t endorse them. But people are free to be idiots, and the only way to avoid that is to turn off comments completely…
As an update to the above, unfortunately, I have had to ban a user. A user by the name of Effendi, who is now banned, came on line using profanity, calling the Holocaust a hoax, and speaking of killing Jews in the street.
I won’t have that. There are no banned ideas, but I won’t let posts that threaten physical violence or posts with excessive profanity stay on my blog.
Please, continue the debate, but I will ban any users who cannot abide by these rules…
