The Partisanship Of The Wilsons
I’m talking Joseph and Valerie. Byron York asks the obvious question – since we now know it was Richard Armitage who first ‘leaked’ Valerie Plame’s identity, will he be sued? The answer will surprise no one who has paid attention to these attention-seeking partisans:
The new attorney for Joseph and Valerie Wilson says the Wilsons do not plan to add former State Department official Richard Armitage to their lawsuit against top Bush administration officials because Armitage “did not act with the same level of malevolence” as Vice President Dick Cheney, top White House aide Karl Rove, and former Cheney aide Lewis Libby in the CIA-leak affair.
What a marvelous gift this attorney has, to be able to peer deep into the souls of men and determine their intentions! And how fascinating it will be to listen as that gift is explained in a courtroom…
Look – Bob Novak and Bob Woodward (but not Bob Newhart, to my knowledge) were told Valerie Plame’s identity by Richard Armitage, NOT by Karl Rove, Lewis Libby, George Bush, or Ulysses S. Grant (Rove and Libby’s sin was to confirm what was already known). If the harm the Wilsons suffered was due to her ‘outing’, it hardly matters if Armitage was just jawboning. At this point, it’s safe to say that the Wilsons are not concerned about any supposed ‘injury’ they suffered, but rather in prolonging their newfound VIP status among the left by continuing a lawsuit that even they must know is farcical…
Joe is the gift that keeps on giving.
When al franken wrote Lying Liars…he had not yet met the Wilsons.
This farce of dems attacking Bush for three years, with their chief accuser/star witness, continually providing material to show how dishonest he himself is.
The dems made a deal with the devil and now are married to him, with kids.

Based on this logic, how can they go after Libby? Judy miller never wrote a word about plame.

I almost hope for a democratic house, just so I can see an impeachment hearing where the star prosecution witness has already been publicly impeached.
given the dem track record on the Wilsons, they’ll blithely continue on with their efforts.
