North Korea Says It Will Conduct A Nuclear Test
Unfortunately, there’s not a Mark Foley angle that I can see, so it probably won’t get any play, but there is a small matter that someone in Washington might want to consider:
North Korea, citing American belligerence and pressure, said Tuesday it will conduct a nuclear test.
The North Korean Foreign Ministry issued the comment in a statement published by the Korean Central News Agency, or KCNA — the communist country’s official news agency.
“The field of scientific research of the DPRK will in the future conduct a nuclear test under the condition where safety is firmly guaranteed,” the statement said.
A failed state with delusions of grandeur, a distinct anti-Western bias, and a severe money problem has the bomb; that’s a prescription for a nightmare…
