MI In Play? In A Word, No

I know some of my regulars assure me that Brouchard will win in Michigan.  To you, my friends, I say: I admire your optimism, but…51-38

Even if the poll is off by 10 points, Brouchard loses…that’s a goner…

I should have caught this before, but I was too busy preparing for the Bouchard victory party.

The poll you are looking at is a Detroit News poll which, as anyone in Michigan can tell you, is worthless. They have never come remotely close in the history of their paper.

Granholm, who is good looking and fairly competent, is only showing about 5 points above DeVos. The republican Secretary of State and Attorney General are leading by double digits. It is inconceivable that Stabenow, an ineffective cow, is performing better than Granholm.

I’ll stick with the prediction that Bouchard pulls it off.

I agree, the Detroit News/Free Press is a ‘wholely owned subsidary’ of the DNC & Unions :) If they even deign to publish anything about conservative topics, it because they need to do damage control, otherwise, they’ll ignore it and hope that starves the story of any oxygen.

For a while, I subscribed to just the Sunday edition for the ads etc, but after 6 months, I had to let the subscription lapse — it’s that partisan.
