My Good Deed For The Day
Okay, for most of you, this will be total gibberish. However, when I have a computer problem that I have solved without finding a solution during a Google search, I feel duty bound as a geeky computer-type guy to post the solution so somebody else can find it in a Google search.
So, here goes.
If you have Trend Micro’s new TrendSecure Total Recovery beta installed on your HP or Compaq notebook or desktop, you will not pass the funnel seek test on your IDE Hard Drive diagnostic.
At least, that was the case on my Compaq Presario V3020US model. However, when I uninstalled the Total Recovery beta, the hard drive passed with flying colors.
