Final Day Of Voting
The 2006 Weblog Awards voting will cease at midnight tonight. Barring some huge last minute shift, Decision ’08 will come in second in its category. I’ve had some fun pleading for your votes, but I do want you all to know I appreciate your votes and your readership.
It’s nice to be recognized as a nominee; I don’t have the traffic levels that many of my rivals have, and I probably never will (I have my suspicions as to why that is, but that’s neither here nor there at the moment). It’s not all about traffic, though; it’s also about the quality of your readership, and the dialogue you engage in, and I continue to think we’ve got ourselves a nice little spot here where people can respectfully engage in discussion on the issues of the day, satisfy their political junkie cravings, and hopefully have a bit of fun, as well.
So thanks again, and for the last time this year, I ask you to please consider voting for me once more…
