I was 19. I voted for him because he made a career out of vetoing Democrat socialistic & communistic legislation. I voted for him because he pardoned Nixon, who I despised and who did his best to destroy this country, because it was the right thing for our Nation. I voted for him because Chevy Chase and SNL made fun of his highly public physical mishaps - and he laughed about it. Yes, Gerald Ford, Preseident, RIP.
