One reason not to root for the Bears is because of how Kos (and some others there) are giving political reasons to root against the Colts, even going as far as to smear Tony Dungy of all people!
And, as a Jets fan, I have to root for the Colts after the way they took care of the Pats in the AFC Championship.
You’ve got to be kidding me – they’re making the Super Bowl ideological?
Do you have a link, Cless? I was reading some on there today; the only offensive thing I saw was when one of them referred to Rex Grossman (or so I presume, at least) as a “Jewboy.”
Here’s one thread about it (though this only had 2 political points, one of which I’m sure was tongue-in-cheek), which includes the following horrible comment about Dungy by someone else (from a Colts fan of all things):
