Well, I’m Back…
…and did not post today because airport wireless coverage absolutely sucks (I could detect at least four ostensibly ‘free’ wireless networks during this trip – and never successfully connected to any of them – and yes, my wireless adapter is working quite well, thank you).
Nevertheless, I had a much needed rest from work and a nice little vacation, and I made a substantial contribution to the recovery of New Orleans. My trip was too brief to get the full New Orleans flavor, but I very much liked what I saw when the thunderstorms didn’t keep me indoors. As for Harrah’s – nice hotel, nice (big!) casino, and as always, I was treated well on my way to substantial losses.
Always good to be back, and nice to have a weekend to recover…
