The Ron Paul Candidacy Gathers Momentum
In my ongoing quest to give the Ron Paul candidacy the full attention such a noteworthy presidential run deserves, I give you the following from the National Journal’s Republican 2008 candidate rankings:
The man’s supporters know how to game online straw polls. Otherwise, everyone’s ignoring him for now.

Tell Horowitz … he’s foaming at the mouth about Paul.
Ignoring him? Well, he’s already been invited to the debates so obviously somebody is paying attention to him. In fact, he was just at 1% in national polls, so that means he’s doubled in popularity! The grassroots movement must be working. At this rate he’ll have it locked up by the end of the summer.
Umm, sorry other Eric. But a major USA Today poll just came out yesterday. Ron Paul did not even register 1% in the poll. Another big poll last week had him in dead last at 1%, behind Tancredo and Hunter at 2% each.
It’s late in the game. Pundits like Dick Morris, Fred Barnes and others are already saying that the election on the GOP side is near over, with Giuliani the unbeatable frontrunner. Morris says that if you don’t have $100 million in the bank by September you won’t have a chance of winning the Nomination. He further says that Giuliani is virtually the only one with a realistic shot at attaining that goal.
Real Libertarians are joining Giuliani for President. He’s fiscally conservative/socially tolerant and most important Pro-War on Islamo-Fascism. Ron Paul, on the other hand, believes that if we just surrender to the Islamo-Fascists they’ll go away and leave us alone. Yeah, right!

Giuliani is pro gun control and supports the Patriot Act and is the biggest fan of Big Brother like all these other spineless pansy candidates. If everyone is running scared from the terrorists and needs Big Brother to protect them the terrorists have won by taking away essential freedoms. If you are that big of a pu**y go to Cuba and have Castro comfort you. Big Brother couldn’t stop 9/11 despite the numerous warnings from everyone (see Alex Jones predicts 9/11 on YouTube). Osama is the new Goldstein created to scare people into supporting fascist policies. He will never be caught because Clinton and Bush protected him on multiple occasions telling the FBI “to quit going after him” before 9/11 and he was a known asset of the CIA in the 70’s and 80’s. Vote for Ron Paul who wouldn’t have aided these evil men.

He hadn’t announced that he was running yet so why would you put any weight on a poll before he announced.
