No it was not a debate. It was a pity party that made it clear that all of the Democratic canidates think big government is the only way to improve racial equality. It made me sad because Tavis Smiley is in my opinion the best interviewer of our time and he shouldnt be associated with something so rediculous.

I thoroughly enjoyed the debates and was glad to see questions and candidates that were focused on the PROBLEMS in America. The focus on our loss of budget surplus, unfair taxation of the poor and middle class while the rich continue to get richer and the underpinnings of SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY was refreshing. I welcome any administration that is moral and social responsible rather than money and big business focused.

He also advocated the end of for-profit health care, too, didn't he?

I was proud of Bill Richardson at least once, though. He started saying that the US needed to help prevent the spread of AIDS in Africa. I started yelling at the TV (a bad habit) that the Bush administration has already set up a program to do just that (Mark has blogged about it, along with Bono's reaction), and Bill Richardson was quick to complement the Bush administration for its efforts there.

Probably the only nice thing that will be said about the president in either party's debates.

Don't forget Kucinich's other proud moments: withdrawal from the WTO and ending the use of war as a policy instrument.

Kucinich was the biggest idiot: "If Darfur had oil the US would be occupying it now."

It is full of oil, you moron! They have oil contracts with the Chinese, who are, in turn, protecting them at the UN, which is why we can't do anything.

I'm still trying, but I'm not sure how much longer I'll make it. This is ridiculous.
