I can imagine what wingnuts like you would be saying if Ahmadinejad had something about how he hopes Americans all drink themselves to death.

Depends if it was a funny joke or not.

I never said it wasn’t in bad taste but it was funny. Bad taste doesn’t bother me too much in jokes.

By the way, Ahmadinejad is a reckless maniac. Someone who actually states, (in formal state speeches, not jokes) that he favors genocide.

That’s ok, save your hatred for GOPers if it makes you feel better.

Bob, it’s not even slightly funny. He’s joking about killing Iranian civilians. It’s not even a war joke – it’s a genocide joke.

It’s a simple rule really, the more offensive the content the funnier the joke needs to be. McCain needs to give it up; some people are joke tellers, other are not, he is not.

Ryan, no doubt about it, McCain needs to stay away from his ‘humor’. Neither well-publicized joke about Iran was in good taste – furthermore (and worse!) they didn’t even have the saving grace of being funny…as to McCain hating bloggers, eh…who cares? If you haven’t noticed, I’ve become a bit ambivalent about blogging myself. Where McCain errs is to equate blogging in general with the hard-core partisan tripe that is most popular on both sides of the aisle…for every nutjob, there are five or ten very earnest bloggers who are doing it mostly for love, but they their combined audiences are dwarfed by the hardcore, who always play to the bleachers by throwing out the red meat…
