Let's revisit this comment by Jonah Goldberg: "I prefer crowds that chant "U-S-A" to "O-B-A-M-A." "

I'm pretty sure this crown was just chanting "John McCain". I'm also pretty sure my BS meter is breaking into tiny pieces.

It wasn't great, but it certainly made clear that she's a fundamentally decent person. I'm a little appalled that Republicans can, with a straight face, belittle Obama's community organizing while simultaneously praising Cindy's dad's bravery and patriotism in making a fortune peddling booze - and then follow that up by pretending that Cindy and John are patriots for inheriting that fortune.

I truthfully must tell you I only now started watching...no offense against Cindy McCain, but her speech looked like a real yawner, so I turned it off quickly...

Cindy McCain actually makes it sound like John doesn't want to blow up the entire world. Interesting. I especially enjoyed the bit she did on choosing reconciliation over retribution. Has John McCain ever turned down an opportunity for retribution?
